Well done to Ding on overcoming Selby. I thought at 10-10 it was all over for Ding as Selby had the momentum (slow though) But Ding dug deep like a champion does and won potting a fantastic pink.. It was an entertaining match to watch. Roll on Trump V Ding, we're in for an attacking match.

Selby got what he deserved, he is so arrogant. I couldn’t help looking at Selby and thinking there something not right about this guy, He has big rings around his eyes and don't look good, I don't know maybe it's his life style or something.

Selby is going to be gutted after doing everything right tonight until he missed the penultimate red at 10-10, it could take a long time for him to get over it. Overall he really is his own worst enemy at times by complicating things needlessly but Ding showed real bottle towards the end and deserved the win.

I expect two really close semis but will go for a Williams v Trump final and MW's experience giving him another world title.

Well played, Ding! Selby tried to freeze Ding, taking his time on shots but I think it (once again) worked against him. Also few 'wrong shots' there as Selby himself admitted, although I don't believe when he says that it wasn't the pressure. Of course it affects a player at that stage. A couple of years ago Ding would've lost the match but I'm impressed how he has improved and matured.
