        No.

There are still 12 sessions of snooker to be played. I expect the 138 to be beaten.

If it holds it will be the biggest surprise this year. Not just a quite low high break these days, but also made in the first round.

Not a chance! especially now theres only 4 players left, they will all be secretly gunning for it, 143 i reckon will take it..

I actually dont think it will be beaten, not sure why, just think that a 140 break or more (that's what it would have to be realistically) is a big ask!!

there is no incentive to playing the slightly more risky shot to keep holding for blacks with no maximum prize so players are making slightly lower and safer breaks.

                Thus, 138 may survive

depends if somebody get far enough ahead to try to break it.

10000 £ is still a lot. Williams was chasing it in the 7.th frame

I got the impression that it was a £10k prize for personal use, or £20k if donated to charity.

No, it was 10k to the highest break plus 20k to charity
Presume now (at moment lol) it will be 5k and 10k each

Thats the only good thing to come out of Ding's defeat (he was among those I had backed to win it), I also had a bit on him to get top break of the tourney, so would get some kind of payout (half the stake I think) if it stays the same - though usually 138 wouldnt be enough to win it. If the final gets cagey though quite possible it may stand.
