Really excited about Judd v Ding. Won't be any gamesmanship, good but not excessive safety, just two young guns going for it !

I just hope Ding and Trump play there natural game and dont play to defensive, as there is so much at stake, and the fact that this is the biggest match of their careers to date. On paper it looks a classic, here's hoping they dont disappoint..

They both appreciate open game and both know they won't do anyone a favour by trying to freeze each other's game. Also they seem to be able to perform on big stage so I don't expect any radical change in tactics. It should be a good, enjoyable match.

            The most uncertainly semifinals.

Each of them have a chance to win the champion.

I hope that the semifinals live up to the expectations, but often the semifinals turns into strange affairs, scrappy, one player running in front, then freezing close to the line, but if all four players are up to their best, it could be real fireworks.

I'm looking forward to both matches. I think the tournament so far has been good, but there were a lot of one-sided matches where one player dominated. But now that these four very strong players have come through, I think we will see three great battles in the last three matches. It certainly looks like the final weekend could be the highlight of the championship this year, which is something that hasn't happened for a while.

So, who is going to win it? I will skip the over-analysis this time, but you can obviously find strengths and weaknesses in any of the remaining players. I think any one of the four could potentially win it.

I predicted Ding to prevail in a close match against Trump. I think Trump has perhaps looked stronger so far, with some relentless potting and scoring, and while neither player has played on the one table here, I think Ding's experience in the big matches has to count for something. Selby was a great test for him, while Trump has had it pretty easy so far. But then again, he's had it easy because he managed to put a lot of pressure on his opponents.

The other match is perhaps an even more exciting prospect. I think Higgins has played the worse of the four, but I had that feeling in 2007 as well. Williams was giving quite a few scoring chances to Allen, I think he won't be able to afford that here, as Higgins will probably raise his game. Then again, Williams also won't be missing the kind of sitters O'Sullivan missed last night. There is also the question of history between them. Higgins won that dramatic UK final, which must have been painful for Williams. But other than that, I think Williams has the better record between them in recent years, and he also won a couple of previous matches between the two at the Crucible. I predicted a 17-15 in favour of Williams, but I wouldn't be surprised if Higgins won it either.
