Betfred.com World Snooker Championship SEMI-Final Discussion
That was one of the greatest matches I've ever seen!!!!! JUST UNBELIEVABLE!! The tension was almost unbearable!!! I can't imagine what it was like watching it in the Crucible!
I can remember a match where Higgins played Selby, Higgins was 11-12 down, first to 13, got 2 60 + breaks to win, not as high a standard, but not too far off, the tension was electric, u should go one day if u've not been already, it really is a special place!! I forgot to say I was there!!!

With him getting to quarters, and losing or gaining points from 2 years ago, due to the rolling ranking system I'm not sure, Ronnie may stay where he is or go up a place at a guess!

The closest comparison tension-wise I can remember is the match where Jimmy broke down and Hendry cleared up with pinks to win the WC. That was hard to sit through as well.
No, I've never been to the Crucible. Would love to one day. It always looks like a magical place to watch snooker.
Higgins is not playing well enough to win. Neither is Williams.
The opponent in the final won't get as near as Ding did.
This was the final.
Higgins hasnt played well, and he's stiill winning one of the best players of all time, plus Judd can't pot eveything all the time, if he has a bad session he's in serious trouble against either of those 2, believe me, that's the LEAST likely of all the things that could happen, that Judd would win relatively comfortably against either Higgins/Williams!!
Feel a bit drained after all that ! ...was sure it was starting to slip away from Judd, Ding just got a bit unlucky in last couple of frames, and luckily Judd held his nerve to clinch it
Going out tonight to celebrate lol, don't think i could stand another nail biter tonight....rooting for Mark (even tho chose John in the prediction thread !)
Tomorrow gonna be a nice day again weather wise, got grass that needs cutting and car thats filthy, but i'm for sure going to be sat in front of the screen watching Judd take an early lead ??

Been 5 or 6 times, seen Hendry, seen Ding, Murphy and Carter last year, Hunter, Doherty 2003 semi (Doherty miraculous comeback), and Ronnie dott for a session in the final of 04, to put it bluntly u NEED to go!!! lol

Except that what often happens is the player who just played a perfect match often goes flat in the next, and he who survives a poor performance feels so relieved they can play freely. Sometimes you can peak too early.
Whatever happens, Judd can say he got to a world final, there are PLENTY of damned good pros who never get there, fewer still win it, let alone multiple times, hope he does well!!!
