Except that what often happens is the player who just played a perfect match often goes flat in the next, and he who survives a poor performance feels so relieved they can play freely. Sometimes you can peak too early.

It could happen, but Judd has played pretty much the same standard in all four matches. His form is consistent, does not come and go.

Well if he can do it against ding he can do it against anybody IMO, i mean ding is not a journeyman is he. great win and maybe the coming of age of a truly great player, this boy could be the boy that beats a few of hendry's records..Only early daze i know but it's his time to shine and he ain't doing a bad job so far.. i bet barry hearn is has excited about judd as me...lol...

I bet he is, Barry Hearn will be worshipping at the alter of Trump, JUST what he needs at the PERFECT time when the snooker scene has been shaken up this last year, and Judd comes on the scene!! Sure he could do it, he may prove me wrong, in a way I hope he does!!

People aren't genuinely rooting for Williams here. They just don't want John to win the 4th crown because then it would be UNDENIABLE that he's above Ronnie in the all time great list.

I am genuinely rooting for Mark as he really should have three titles too, however, Higgins is in a stronger position, having regained his confidence.

as a Ding fan I just wanted to say congratulations to Trump and I hope he goes on to win it.

Of the under 25s these are clearly the top 2 players and hopefully they will play each other in the final one day.

Even though Ding will be gutted - he has surely proved to himself and everyone else his class and guts - his response from 12-14 to 15-14 was that of a champion; not going 16-14 was the key moment of the match.

i'm sure he'll get many more chances to win this title

Actually, I noticed, you need to mention Ronnie in 9/10 of your posts. Are you really that big anti-fan you try to be? I have seen lots of posts you made, almost every time negative. If you think Ronnie is that bad, why don´t you challange him or something, really? Way you behave is sad, I would say.


I hope Mark will get to final, but it would be very hard, Higgins is just incredibly good in some situations. In my eyes, it is match of 2 bests players of last two seasons.
So far, amazing tournament, enjoyed almost every match. Bad thing is, only 2 days and one session remain.

Fair enough. I must have made a typo somewhere. I don't know why they must use such large points figures for the rankings. There's only 96 players. I'm sure it could be much simpler.
