snooker ..... a game that has always prided itself in having honesty and integrity,now has a real chance of having john higgins as its world champion?! am i the only one who feels uneasy about this and how others will now view snooker.

Well done to John Higgins. I'm surprised Williams missed that black, he doesn't usually succumb to pressure like that.

I think in the end it was his trademark scrapping qualities that let him down, because most of the close frames went to Higgins. In some ways it was the opposite of their UK final, but the winner was still the same.

It should be a great final.

I can't believe how clear cut the evidence was against him and also upping the moneyfrom 200 to 300. Yeh seemed really scared to me !!!

How most people are forgetting the dishonesty of Higgins is beyond me.

Quintan Hann was banned for 8 years while Higgins gets 6 months. What a shambles.

Not quite my same reason this time around. I was just frustrated with the final line-up last year. I'm again frustrated this year and also have a school project to work on.

It was a sting operation by a paper (scum), and his management didnt help him out, he didnt know who they were, he wanted out of the situation and did what he thought he had to do to achieve that, it WASNT just him in the wrong zeroprobe, dont slander someone without knowing the facts please

Possibly, he would have taken in incredible amount to beat him tonight, if he can get to finals now, he'll get to finals at his best too, truly remarkable, from a remarkable sportsman, this last 2 weeks my respect for higgins has gone through the roof, how he produces time and again (remember vs selby 2007 anyone, I was there) is beyond belief, I hope he wins a very close match!!
