Here come's the tension, Judd should have played safe on that blue, u can't pot EVERYTHING, sometimes shots have to be turned down for a good cue ball on the bottom cushion, John needs 1 of these next 2 frames!!

Higgins has been so mediocre from distance, or in any tricky positions actually. Trump should really be taking advantage, but at the moment, he is not putting Higgins away.
I think with a bit of experience, or at least with the way he played in China, he would have had a decent lead now. But there is a chance Higgins finds his form and still wins.

Wtf is that...there are like 20 people in that room ....its like a whole scottish clan waiting for John to win."There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy White

This is why Higgins is so tough to beat. Williams and Trump both refused to change their game and kept going for everything. You cannot keep potting balls off the lampshades. A player like Higgins will punish most mistakes. Wheras a lot of other players would have crumbled by now. IMO, Trump needs to play the opponent as well as the table and stop trying to pot everything.
