Agree 100%, nothing against Judd at all, but I've said that all along, u have to know when to play safe and when to pot a ball, Judd needs to learn that otherwise he's gonna find it seriously tough to win tonight!

I don't agree. He reached the final and can still win the title with his way of playing snooker. It's just great to watch as well.

It's great to watch, and of course he can still win, but he can't pot his way to the title, he is not machine, nerves and pressure will come into it, look at today, I cant believe he took that blue on down the rail, he should have got a good cue ball and sent it round the angles, the session turned from there!!

I think it was either Steve Davis or John Parrot who said that John Higgins has the best 'B' game ever - he can still win against quality opposition even when not at his best. This match is far from over, but he has once again proven his fighting abilities and will to win.

Only about 90min ago I posted that he would not get out of this one - hopefully he is punishing my lack of faith!

To borrow a quote from João, Trump made Higgins look good in this session. Higgins has really been struggling to get good openings throughout the match, but Trump gave him chances to find a bit of form, and it looks like that's happened now.

Higgins is probably favourite for tonight now, but I wouldn't rule Trump out. He responded really well under pressure against Ding. He needs to do the same here.

Yes he did, but if he misses a couple, I'm not sure about hsi belief when crunch time comes, it's ok when they all go in, or when he's just knocked in a century, but if he loses another scrappy frame like at 12-9 and the blue, he's in big trouble

spot on. getting sick of hearing about how great a fighter & how higgins never gives in. most of the top professionals are the same but we hardly here it mentioned with them... there's no doubting higgins class as a player but i've watched snooker for over 20 years now & never seen a player get such a good run on so many occasions, there could be a 3 or 4 frame swing in this match alone due to the running he's had (or the running trump's not had)
it would be great for snooker if a young attacking player with loads of flair like judd was to win this but i get the feeling it's not going to be his day.... hope i'm wrong mind..

i too agree with barryh, i've never seen so much luck, trump may have missed that blue, but higgins wasn't guaranteed to finish on the black if it wasn't for that flick, then in previous frames where he flicked baulk colours to snooker trump. the list could go on. hopefully this evening higgins's luck will run out.

Hope you are wrong as well. Trump mania could start tomorrow if he wins the title. We finally have someone - now that Osullivan is on hold - to give color to snooker and entertain us.
Anyway even if he doens't win he is by far THE player of this WC.
