The blue along the rail was a big turning point and the start really of the Higgns comeback it showed him Judd was not invincible, had that have gone in i think we may have been telling a different story, but Higgins just never gives up even in that last frame which he should have really lost.

on the day of the greatest tournament of the game we love, the negativity on here is overwhelming. We have just witnessed a comeback from a guy that in 12 months was set up by the news of the world, lost his father and been character assassinated by people that haven't even met the man. We have also witnessed a young man that put up a great fight and i haven't been so excited about a player walking to a table for many years. all i have to say is Congratulations John Higgins and Great game Judd, look forward to the future!

Most players would have crumbled, but the man is truly exceptional and great, well played to both, agreed about Judd, incredible for the game!! What higgins has done is one of the best comebacks in sport history!

I defend John because he is my favorite player, because he is an exceptional player, an exceptional man and he was proven innocent the last time I checked. Now if you prefer to believe the gutter press, well, that means you belong right there indeed to me...

There was a time when John's integrity was questioned. As far as I know, the verdict was quite clear. He was innocent on th emain part but found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute. He was suspended, paid his due, came back, and won almost everything. Now for sure, you are amongst that kind of people that goes for the extreme way and a 'disrepute brought to the game' must get you a lifetime ban, right? lol Laughable...to say the least. It's just sour grapes....purely sour grapes.

Having someone guilty of frame dropping would cast a major shadow over the sport which is most likely the reason why they found Higgins one of their top draws not guilty.

Not sure how you believe a verdict over clear cut video evidence. The video is there for all to see, you probably havn't even seen it I guess.

I knew that was a turning point as soon as John won that frame, I said to my bro, dont take it on Judd, he couldn't resist, it wasnt that hard a safety shot either, cue ball on black cushion, blue round the angles!

This has been argued over so many times, why don't you research previous postings before dragging it up over and over again ??
At the end of the day, while he is still potting balls he is not cheating, so if nothing else you have to respect that surely !

There are many things we won't all agree on but taking everything into account i just think its been a great tournament as a whole, and one of the best i've seen for a good few years with some new exciting players coming through especially Judd, a re juvenated Mark Williams, some great shots and great moments from many players.
Its good that we have some great talking points and that there's a renewed buzz about our great game, i also think the tournaments will be wide open this year as to who can win with so many great players able to compete.

Looking forward to the future with great optimism.

These are not the topics of a scared man. Don't you also think if there were any hidden bits of the video that the NOTW did not want you to see, Higgins would have had released to help them. HMMM probably because there are no hidden scenes in that video that could help Higgins.
