  • Live Scoring / World Snooker

Is this meant to be some sort of joke. Live scoring for the biggest snooker tournament of the season, and they cannot even keep it connected for more than 2 hours at a time. Lets hope Barry Hearn gets this sorted out pretty damn quick.

What annoys me, there are people there who must know that its gone down, but dont do nothing about it, why?? Surely they can get a basic system like this up and running without all these disconnections. Its making me so frustrated, watching the scoring then having to ring round to see if anybody knows the frame score.

If this happened in any other sport, i'm sure heads would roll. Shame on you World Snooker. Get your Bloody act together will you!

In the past live scoring only stopped late at night but for this tournament its been stopping throughout the day.

So its actually got worse than in previous years which i didnt think was possible

Congratulations to those in charge of the worldsnooker.com website. It's working like a dream. That is in our dreams. Like right now, when it shows some of the Last 64 matches. Splendid job guys! In Japan they tend to react rather drastically for far less than failing (and failing, and failing, and failing) so many people for so long

Yes it's shocking. The only way to check scores at the moment is through globalsnooker, maybe they couldn't afford the double time.

It may seem a minor problem in comparison to what other problems the new bosses have to face and solve but IT IS NOT!
Come to work guys in charge and make the website function properly!
I know it’s Sunday but the Mess is over.

I ask WSA to give me the job !

I will make the website much improvement and new live-scoring with all 15 reds, yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black, with a foul point on it with break point, score point and frame score! And ensure it kept updated every times the player foul or pot the ball.

WSA live-scoring is rubbish and how do we know if it had 5 reds left on the table ?

Well I don't really almost ever check live-scoring anyways... I'd very much prefer at least WC qualifiers to be streamed, that I'd be way more likelly to watch!

But they should better take care it works fine also for a very 'financial' reason - people might be betting based on that. Seems a few sites do offer bets on WC qualifiers, including live-betting (so not just for the final tournament, didn't know that before).
I've seen live scoring provided with live-betting option (at eg bwin.com) but that was for final tournament part. They don't do live-betting for qualifiers so who knows maybe worldsnooker.com is the only place to get live scoring for qualifiers then.

And weren't betting companies at least half of the recent sponsors?
