                • Wow ,thats a bad result for him ,I bet he was strong odds on to win there ,
however bad days can all too easy happen on a snooker table .
                  Still quite surprised though!

                  • It´s amasing that Walden has managed to throw away, what before the UK championship looked like a certain top 16 places. Wasn´t he number 8 in the provisional rankings ?

If McLeod doesn´t win, Higginson could well keep his place at 32, quite lucky.

Liang Wenbo came from the first qualifying round that year too. Two careers that have gone in opposite directions since.

Rory must win two matches to get to top 32.

                        • I'm very happy that I'll get to see another young Chinese player on the biggest stage of all. Well done Zhang, just a shame that it was at Walden's expense.

I wonder what the draw has in store for him... The Chinese qualifiers always seem to get pretty interesting draws, either O'Sullivan, or pairing two Chinese players together.

                          • Interesting that only three chinese players lefts on the tour and all of them will play at Crucible.
                            Other five is relegated.

Since UK championship Walden is completely useless.
                            3 matches-3 lost.
