Looks like Fergal is making his h2h against Alan a bit prettier. It's 9-4 already.

Woohoooo, 10-4 over and out. Well done Mr. Davis. To make up for not attending today I'm going to try and get tickets for his first rounder at the Crucible in hope that he can turn back the clock one last time.

Well done to The Nugget. Fantastic achievement. Can't wait for the draw. Hope he gets an easyish one. Joe Perry would be good. (sorry Joe)

Well done The Nuggget 5 decades at the Cruciable made his debut in 1979, dominated in the 80's, also played every year in the 90's and missed out only twice in the 0's To Andy Hicks (2001) and Robin Hull in 2002 and now in the 1's let's hope he gets a good first round draw. do any of you think this acheivement will be equalled by any other player I doubt it maybe stephen Hendry if he is still playing in 2020.

I'm a big admirer of Hendry but I don't think he's got the desire to fight his way through the bad times and the qualifiers like Davis has done. Steve Davis is my all time great!!

So does that mean he's in top32 now for sure?

What a view we're missing as Harold is grinding his way back with all that painfull expression in his face...

Yes it does. He will definately remain in the top 32.

Isn't it ironic how most of us hated to see him win at one time, and now we root for him. i watched him play today and seeing him win has made my weekend.

snawaz I echo your sentiments 100%. I'm a patriotic Jock who should be supporting Higgins, Hendry etc but I have nothing but respect and admiration for Davis. Truely an ambassador for our sport.
