Yes, disapointing to see Trump and Swail getting hammered and unlilely to qualify now. Along with White, Drago, Parrot there will be many of the crowd favourites missing this year.

I can't believe Swail and Trump are both 8-1 down and I hope McCulloch can keep in touch with Hawkins by winning the last frame because it would be good to see him play on tv again.

Ken Doherty wins 10-1 welcome back to the Cruciable Kenlosing only 4 frames in qualifying aginst to cruciable regulars Jimmy white And Joe swail, I feel sorry fr Joe Swail getting thrashed 10-1 by Ken, let's hope joe can get back into the 32 again and hope this big loss has bad season not effected
but well done ken guranteed a place in the world's top 32 for next season.

So does this mean Ken is (back) to pretty solid form now? Or just White & Swail were not up for it this year..

Well done to Steve Davis for 30th appearance times at the crucible! Steve had his 100th major finals, 30th times at the crucible, most uk snooker champions (6 times) and still overall tournament champions of 81 times!

Steve still hold these 4th records (hope that Hendry will not overtake him)
