Oh yes, 5 decades too! (Steve could have won his world championship even more in 1990 and 1991 but was beaten by Jimmy White and John Parrott there after) or that famous black ball cut in the corner pocket in 1985!
I was gutted when Hendry won 7th world titles! (wish he stayed as a 6th times world champion like Davis & Ray Reardon did)

Is anyone else going tomorrow? I am hoping I get to meet Graeme at long last but also I don't want to jinx him as I have yet to see him win in 3 attempts.TSF World Champion 2010

It will be a fullhouse sell-out and million will watch it if it does happen!

I'll be there Alex.
I was there today and will be putting together an extensive report regarding the Ford/Trump and Ken/Swail matches during the next couple of hours.
In short though Tom was excellent, though Trump certainly had his chances. He seemed to get frustrated at around 3-1 and completely lost his way until 9-1 when he just started to let loose and have a go.
Ken meanwhile was very good, his safety is in a different league to anyone else I have seen at the qualifiers this year, still world class. He's not quite back to his all-time best as his long potting was pretty poor, but in the balls he was good and very unfortunate to miss out on a 147 in frame ten when he got a kick on 81 which put him out of position.sigpic

how gutted would dennis taylor be if he lost in 1985 tho!
i really hope davis goes far in this years wsc, it was good to see his qualifying match scoring, as he seemed to be making 70s and 80s when he was in the balls.
just out of interest does anyone know what happened to that final black, like who owns it now?wooooooooo snookerrr

Good question mate !
if i was playing in a black ball finish if i potted it i would give it to a member of the audience
i will ask world snooker when the snooker starts again.
im kinda curious as to what happens to the sets of balls after there usage, because there have been 82 world championship finals now, where are those sets?
Also a bit off topic, does anyone know where lecister square hall is? (was it actually in lecister sq, because i typed it into google and coulddnt find anything)wooooooooo snookerrr

But that didn't stop them from letting people in, that was the problem, they just let everyone in despite there being nowhere near enough seats.sigpic
