ive been expecting things from Tom Ford for some time now, he's shown a lot more this season and im hoping he can start living up to his ability. he is for me as fustrating as Michael Holt in that given his talent he could be pushing the top 16. i have put it down to his pool playing, dont know if he's given it up or not but he's definatly improved of late. baring in mind Trumps well discussed inconsistentcy im not suprised Ford was able to do this

    • He started working with Steve Feeney a year ago and it seems to have really worked for him. Note that Mark Davis started work with him a couple of seasons ago and look how he is doing now...

Trump is a strange one, I was at the EISS last year as he saw a 6-2 lead overhauled by Stephen Lee and now today against Tom. Last year he started brilliantly as the underdog and faltered once in the lead with the expectation levels raised. Today he came in as the seeded player with all of the expectation upon him from the off and he struggled immediately (though Tom did punish every mistake well). I'm possibly reading too much into that but perhaps there is a pattern there...

        • A Few Upsets......

The Big One for me is to See Matthew Stevems Lose 10-9 to Marcus Cambell as I Follow Matthew, Mark Williams Coming from this Part of the World WALES

Also the Other People Losing Quite Easy was... Joe Swail losing 10-1 to Ken ....Joes alot better than that but Obviously didn't Play as he Can. Althou did think Ken would win but not 10-1.

Judd Trump Losing 10-3 to Tom Ford.....That was another Thrashing really althou Judd is Hot and Cold and Obviously Took Tom too Easily and Got Beat.

I am Glad to See Michael Holt go throu as he is a real Cracker to Watch and quite entertaining Especially when he Breaks a Knuckle or two....Joke!

          Gaz.

Indeed. Stuart Bingham potted a red and apparently has taken 35 minutes so far to line up his next shot. I know the final round of qualifying is nerve-wracking but really...

            • What is going on with the Dott v Michie match? They have been on the MSI for quite some time now... It's not the live scoring this time.

              • Something Must have Happend as they have Taken that Match Off Now?

I wonder if Dott had enough lost his Head?

                        • The table has been deemed unplayable. They will continue the match on the first table that comes available.

                          • They should start the dott match from scratch if table was unplayable, it is a total disgrace.
