If a match on table 1 finishes early and the barrier is lifted, do those that stay get the commentary from table 2 piped through?! Always wondered that.Steve Davis Technical Articles = https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...ilebasic?pli=1

I've gathered from Statman's posts that you can choose which table's commentary to follow.
Edit: too lateRobbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

God, they are making a steal then! Almost 1000 people in the Crucible, most people wearing those earpieces, that's £5000 per session for World Snooker! Genius!
I wouldn't pay £5 for one though. It should be included in the ticket charge

I've never understood why someone would want to watch it live but have commentry in their ear. Its not like they dont know whats happening without it. Either watch it at home with commentry or in the arena with the atmosphere that goes with it.
Having said that if I did choose to have the commentry I would buy two so I can have it in stereo. I hate just using one earpiece.

I like listening to it every now and then but not all the time.
Take last year for instance, when I was listening to it during the Williams and Hendry match I heard the commentators saying Williams was having problems with his tip and that's why they took the interval early.
Without the ear piece I wouldn't have known why.
