How could Stephen leave him self so badly for the frame ball red. He could have just scref an inch or two from the black for a dead straight red in the left centre pocket. Terrible shot that was!

Selby shows again what a great tactician he is. He had Hendry in trouble a number of times.
On the other hand, Hendry's safety leaves a lot to be desired. In his final shot he not only left the blue over the pocket, but also developed the black for Selby.
A very important frame now.

How quickly it can turn around. Hendry could have been pushing for 6-2, but he will now feel like he has lost the session.
Hendry is playing about as well as expected, but I thought Selby would be less forgiving in punishing his mistakes. But now that he did get to 4-4, he remains favourite to pull away in the next two sessions.

Mark'll be very pleased with 4-4 that's for sure
Meanwhile it seems all players are struggling this afternoon Murphy and Ding aren't playing their best either
