I just hope Martin won't feel the pressure as he approaches then winning line. He has such a lovely rhythm around the table and commits himself to every single shot he takes on I hope he continues :snooker:
yeah, from what I've seen of Martin he can hold himself together well Hopefully he'll do so tomorrow though i do expect a comeback from Robbo. I think if Martin keeps the momentum he could not only go past Robbo but John/Steve too! :snooker:

He could get past Steve, but John - no way.

well supposedly (according to some commentators at least...) Gould has nerves of steel due to his previous job as a casino dealer. so there's nothing that could bother him. at all.
could there be a grain of truth in that?
*edit: to be precise, the quote was "he has no nerves".
I think he holds himself quite well but to be honest, when you're playing top players & you have nothing to lose you tend to play better! I'm not in anyway undermining him. Of course you have to be a very good player & to have nerves of steel to survive that sort of pressure :snooker:
Do you figure then John is going to start potting more balls? Or to put it differently - missing less balls?
It's not Robertson playing worse than Higgins in the other match, it's Gould playing just too good.
Higgins is so patchy so far... sooner or later he'll be kicked out of the tourny (would be 1st on the list whom to bet not to win it, he's still on short odds), and more likely sooner.
