Hopefully Davis can give it a good go, can only see Higgins running out as winner though.

as much as i want higgins to reach the final to make it a john v ronnie outcome, i do wish davis can wear down john, so that ronnie would win!!

but yea, i have mixed emotions about this match. i want davis to win, and i want john to win too

After the first round match, i don't think Ronnie has the will to reach the final. Mark Williams will crush him in the second round. As for Higgins vs Davis, it's all said already. 13-3, 13-4 or something.

You are a lucky, lucky boy. I saw you in the crowd yesterday right above Peter Ebdon's seat in the first row. Have a nice time!

I hope it doesn't turn out to be a landslide for John, I would say Steve needs to score very well to have a chance.
John hasn't been in top form this season, but still you can't afford to miss chances like he did earlier in the match against M.King.
                    Otherwise serious punishment lol

Steve misses a lot and needs many visits to the table to win a match. That's the kind of player that suits Higgins the most, cause he wins his frames mostly in one visit. It will be bad for the match if Steve plays very cautiously, and refuses a lot of semi difficult pots, and play safe instead. It may ruin the match a bit.
