Whatever it is Steve's taking to get him to this point... I'll have some too.

    Thank you.

A very good start for Davis. If he can keep a high potting percentage, he could hang on to Higgins for quite a while.

Steve surely can pot the balls, but what about holding the cueball? Maybe it will get better when setles down.

As Dennis says: If a player goes 2 frames ahead the other player needs to win 3 frames to go in front Classic!!! lol

I am hoping for a lead for Steve or a close score at the end of today's session, since I have tomorrow off and will be able to follow the live stream from home.

Good pot success rate for Steve, if he could only improve his cue ball control...

He's started very well has the Nugget, and John-boy seems a little ioff colour as he did at the start of his first round match.

I think the key for Davis is to win the session in such circumstances. 5-3 should be the minimum he'd be happy with tonight. The worry has to be that Higgins could well win a session 7-1, which from a 4-4 would be curtains but which from a 5-3 gives him still a sniff.

I don't know who I want to win this... I'd love to see Steve make but I guess in the long run John would produce better snooker...

John hasn't been in top form this season, but still you can't afford to miss chances like he did earlier in the match against M.King.
                                Otherwise serious punishment lol
If John hasn´t been in form this season, it´s more than 10 years ago since the last time he was in form. Just take a look at the rankings. He´s more than 10.000 points clear of Ronnie and 15000 from no. 3. I wish I could have just one year playing snooker without beeing in form and playing like that.
