    • I can't believe I left it so late to bet on Steve for the Championship. 200-1 where I could have got 500-1 before the qualifiers. When it's a sure thing !!

        200-1 isn't bad..
Now you can't find odds better than 60.

            • What's the name of John's entrance song?

Edit: Ok, Rolf Kalb mentioned it: Paolo Nutini - Pencil Full Of Lead

              • Steve didn't have any luck there, created an opportunity for John, and that is for this frame ... well Steve had another chace, but thats that.

What was Steve's entrance song? It sounded quite impressive.

                    • John is a machine so far this morning. Like he flipped a switch.

                      • so all square then. I did think this might happen in the end. If John could close the gap to a couple of frames as he did last night I think eventually he would have a good session and this looks like it might be it.

It's the old phrase form is temporary, class is permanent and while John could have one bad session, maybe even two, it would be difficult to see him playing badly in all three sessions. Of course, Steve could still win the match but I get the feeling his attempts to stop John playing will not always work if John is playing better. eventually John will get a chance and he won't muck them up as he tended to in the previous sessions.

A couple of breaks of 70 or above from John plus a couple of scrappy frame wins will do it and this is how I expect the session to go for John.

                        very intriguing!
