Ronnie played legend. I fear for Selbs
Watch a clash it will be though!
Poor old Ronnie, If he thinks he plays poor snooker then goodness help the rest of us...
My heart's been racing for the entire final session. This has been a true classic, a real giants' duel.
And unlike two years ago, Mark held his own 100% against Ronnie. This has been a blow-for-blow, one-chance snooker, with impossibly delicate pots, strong long game and the tightest safety.
And I'm privileged to have seen it. Thank you, gentlemen! For not holding back, for playing with the utmost respect for the other, for treating the audience with some exquisite snooker.
And when Ronnie's safety is as accurate as it was today and his middle game works...he's getting to be very dangerous.
About Mark...A real pleasure to see a genuine champion play like that: courageous, attacking, meaning business.
A real treat from both of them. And as a Ronnette, I couldn't be happier about it. It's been GGGREEEATT!!
Better than...coffee.
As for post-match conferences, I couldn't give a flying black ball about it until journalists have found something original to ask a player who has just played some very inspired snooker to defeat a class opponent.
Ronnie knows where his mistakes have happened (that inexplicable miss on the pink when in the balls) or where his safety wasn't 100%. It's not arrogance, it's realism.
Anyway, I won't let such a trifle ruin my joy as a fan of Ronnie's and of snooker, after such a wonderful match. I'm happy! Cheerioo!
*off to celebrate*

O'Sullivan is one of those perfectionists who are never happy with what they produce. The guy could win 13-1 with 13 maximums and complain about dropping a frame...
In a way I feel sorry for him, because people like that are never truly happy. But it's also why we love him - he is a law unto himself. With Ronnie, you have to accept the good with the bad, because the good is just so damn good!
Exactly mate. Exactly.
He suffers for his sanity more than we can probably imagine while sharing his astonishing gifts with us all
and some morons want to flatten his nose for not behaving like them. Losers?
These are the same idiots who might listen to Stephen Hawking and push his wheelcare into the road for sounding like a retard.
Noel,...let it go! Not worth it!
Because if Ronnie had done three cartwheels and punched the air and shook his hips on his way out, he'd have been deemed disrespectful. And for good reason, too.
We've seen a great match of two imperial players.
This is rare today.
So...YEAAAH! "It's not how you start/It's how you finish"...
The interviewer asked Ronnie how he thought he played
Ronnie not too bad
you seem to be your own worst critic Ronnie
Ronnie if i hear that once more i,ll stop the interview because you dont know what your talking about , your talking rubbish .
I think he said something else sarcastic but i did,nt bother to listen , the guy is a ***** full stop

Actually i have a disibility myself noel , i,m still scratching my head as to why you brought him into the equation , and i suppose we,re all morons as we all have diffrent opinions on times
People on here are so bloody anal, he was just honest in his interview and he gets slated. (and tbh i'm not even sure what he said that was soo bad???!?)
If he would of stood there and said, 'yeah it was easy, stuffed him in the final session' you lot would slate him.
If he walked off without interviewing, guess what, same response from some of you. I'm not sure what you expect
Not sure why people can't just sit back and watch him play, especially when he is in that kind of mood.

This is a more sympathetic view, which should be adopted by everyone. Ronnie carries a clearly ill-wise mentality, but it's not a crime, and the fans are the last people on the world to judge his character. He himself or family members, and maybe close friends can make considerations over his thinking.
I have kind of mental problems, as well, a tendency to criticise myself under any circumstances, and although I believe my mentality is in better shape than Ronnie's, it's not easy to get along with this situation.
All I hope now is that Ronnie goes out and wins it all, backing up his fantastic performance. Come on Ronnie!
All the way Mark J!!
I understand nothing from snooker. - Dedicated to jrc750!
