Well well, I guess I was wrong in expecting Robertson to play a strong session. Gould doesn't seem under pressure at all, so it's going to be extremely hard to beat him from 5-11 down now, especially with the way he has been taking his chances.
I said before the start of the tournament that it would be a big surprise if anyone other than Higgins, Robertson or Fu reached the QF in this quarter, let alone get through. But now it looks very possible that none of those will feature at the business end of the tournament at all.
Having said that, I still have the feeling Higgins might get through, and there's half a chance for Robertson as well.

This is good news for Steve Davis.
If Davis can get past Higgins it looks like he will be playing Gould. Gould is playing well but he has no experience of this stage of the World Championship and could crack under the pressure.
I never thought I'd say this again - but Steve Davis has a very good chance of reaching the World Semi Final...!
