The refferee should be imprisoned for thet mistake with the cue ball. He totally put Martin off in the middle of the break. Can't blame him for missing the red in the middle pocket after taking some 5min to respot the cue ball where it was.

I don't have anything personally against him, but that's my oppinion that he is not a class act, nevermind the results. he is waaay far of being called a complete player.

Where do you get off calling one of the best snooker players in the world untalented? If he's untalanted, what does that make you?

Eurosport commentators just cursed Neil Robertson... 'it looks like it'll be a best of 3.' Robbo promptly misses then his fellow commentator berates him and he replies 'well we can't sit here saying nothing!' Well actually, you can, or at least say something factual or useful!

he missed because hes been playing poor, except for earlier today, he hasnt been playing at all well all season, except the grand prix which he won.

Maybe but I was just saying. He wasn't playing too bad against Fergal O'Brien when I saw him the other day played some cracking stuff especially during the hour and ten minute killer frame.

What exactly happened?

Martin poted a red, and screwed the cue ball in the pack to free the pink which was placed behind the pack because the pink spot was occupied. He freed the pink and left it hanging over the right corner pocket. Poted the pink and left himself a faily straightish red for the left centre pocket. And all of a suden, the reffery instead of respoting the pink on it's spot, he accidentally took the cue ball in hand without the chalkmarker (mixing it with the pink perhaps). After that mistake, they had to respot the cueball where it was, which took an awfull lot of time and nerves. After it was respoted, Martin obviously affected and nervous because of that rubbish situation, missed the red in the left centre, and eventually, lost the frame. (i should apply for sport journalist after this )

So basically it was exactly the same mistake as Tabb made in the Dott-Maguire match this morning. I never thought I would even see this scenario one time, let alone twice in one day. Very poor indeed.

mate if frames last more than 30 minutes it means they are playing badly, and he was playing awful in his match against o'brien, well at the start at least.

but i will not let it go, last year, robertson SHOULD have been in the final instead of murphy,, because robertson was playing the best in the tournament (well except mr higgins)

this year, ever since the grand prix i have not even seen him win a match, i know he got into a few second rounds but hasnt played anywhere near as good as last year

Hear hear ,as a huge Davis fan I'd far rather have him play Gould in the next round that Robertson,robertsons quite something to behold when he's on form
