If you start from the fact that Higgins is a better player than Robertson then Davis is favorite. But it will depend of Davis I guess. If he maintains the momentum then he will win.
The only way Steve can win is through the use of lots of Peter Ebdon style gamesmanship, ie lots and lots of safety play and taking a long time to take every shot. He'll have to bring Robertson down to his level.
Unless he starts knocking 95% of them in like he did in the first round, which is probably the best he played in about 5 years. Unfortunately that form seems to have completely deserted him and he's back to making breaks of 38 before breaking down.
Last year Robbo destroyed Steve in the 1st round some 10-3 if I remember correctly. I hope therefore that The Legend will seek for revenge. I think it will be a close call this time & looking forward to it
Steve was saying in interview that he has been working hard on keeping his head still and staying down on the shot has helped.
I think Robertson will be playing quite a different SD this time round.
