Steve played so bad that Robertson had no other choice than winning all those frames
I saw that going differently in my mind

Could someone watching give a short recap of the match so far?
davis has had quite a few chances, doesnt seem to be taking any of them though, Robbos playing pretty well, not amazing but punishing davis when he misses

        Thank you.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Davis is looking very disappointed. Match could be over today.

Robertson very average and Steve the shadow of his match against Higgins.

So let's move to Selby Osullivan, firework expected there

I am surprised that so many people here really thought Davis could do something more here. With all due respect, he just doesn't have what it takes to go past Robertson. His victory against Higgins was a one-off incident and he will never repeat anything similar again. He's missing chances that should never be missed on this level and plays a negative game that is not going to take him anywhere. He can win the scrappy frames, but his inability to score heavily will cost him...Still, he's one of the greatest ever!

                  13:3 Robertson

Well, he could have played a little better than what he showed today Maybe Robertson can finish this quickly, get some rest and improve his game

                        Who, me?

I really did think that it would be the second session where he would win 6-2 or 7-1, but it was Davis who struggled even more than I expected him to. Robertson wasn't brilliant, but he was pretty good, and that's all it took to win the vast majority of frames. But his game is definitely looking better than it did against Gould, so I'm sure he will be going for the win tonight, to have a day off tomorrow.

Like I said in my post before, if Steve played like he did in the first session, he would beat anyone.

It wasn't aimed at you in particular. It was more tongue in cheek.

I believe it's a general consensus around here that Neil isn't a morning person.

Robertson was twice the player Higgins was and put pressure on Davis for whatever Reason John Couldnt.

I really hope that Steve can find something tonight and it's not a case of "the light is dimming and the dream is too."
