Robbo played pretty well this morning, but Davis was back to playing at the standard we've come to expect from him over the last few years - unexpectedly missing easy balls and giving frames away. He is 52 though as we've been reminded a few times this week! Would be nice if he could make a match of it, but can't see it - Robbo could just blow him away tonight. Still a fantastic achievement to reach the quarters if that does happen though

I want Robertson to win the match, but I must say that I´m glad that Steve Davis managed to keep the match alive for a third session. And what a messy last frame, even given the situation it was good to see , that both players could see the fun in it.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE

He only needs another 9 frames on the bounce!
Shame for him and for snooker how this match has gone ,I have watched every frame today and its is clear as day with his 128 break that he was cueing world class ,but robertson or robinson or whatever his name is , is a bit of a bogey player for Steve, has had all the running today, not just slight run of the ball but outragous good luck all day,
he is just that sort of player, a contolled calculated cueists nightmare, his luck must surely run out , but alas it wont be against the legend.
Without all his rubs of the green the score would have been a lot lot closer,
shame for Steve because if anyone deserved luck it should have been him
I am still not writing of Steve because tomorrow he will win !
Come on legend!!!
