    Way to go Dotty! :snooker::snooker::snooker:
And Allen will be back in the coming years.

Getting to top16 and reaching semi for Dott is about enough though now
Co-winner of Spike’s 2009 UK Championship number of centuries prediction contest.

    RIP Noel. RIP.

      I can only second that.

What happend to him? the eurosport commentators kept saying he

Hopefully Dott has still energy to carry on. Being back to top16 might be such a relief that it might disturb his concentration a bit if he feels too relaxed.

Odrl haha Spot on! I'm happy that Dott has once again managed to shut people up.

After all what Graeme Dott went through, I can understand his joy to reach the semis and to be back on the top 16.
However, what on earth was Mark thinking with this AWFUL shot when snookered????? It was like he just gave the frame away to Graeme. Suicidal tendency....

His manager (and father-in-law) had passed away at the time & it resulted in a slump of form & depression. He nearly pulled out of the WC back then.

To add to what Cue1 said, the family also had a cancer scare as Graeme's wife was told she might be very ill. She was pregnant at the time and due to the stress she lost the baby.

Anyone brave enough to contradict this idea: Graeme Dott would be the worst twice champion of the world
                      All the way Mark J!!

That would be me. There are only "greats" or "geniuses" or "jolly good fellows" in the category of "multiple world champions". "Worsts" doesn't belong there.

                        • Well done Graeme, so glad for him!
Quality stuff from Mark too, not to mention his sportsmanship, he's a big ambassador of the sport!
Great match, can't help feeling it's too bad one had to lose!

And following his poor run of results, when he was struggling not to drop down the rankings, he broke his wrist and had to miss two ranking events. I'm really pleased he is almost back to where he belongs.

                            Yes, how awful for him.

                              Exactly the correct answer

Well done Graeme Dott, let's see how you're going to play in the semi final, under the real spotlights again
