O'Sullivan said he checked it after he played it, and it was not touching. But it was touching when Scullion got the chance to have a look, so he called it.
But of course you can't tell if O'Sullivan was right from the TV screen.
Very interesting situation, I must say
Ronnie leads 7-5 heading into the interval..
All the way Mark J!!
I understand nothing from snooker. - Dedicated to jrc750!
Terrible behaviour from O'Sullivan again! Why oh why do we have to see these antics from him. There is just no need to be so disrespectful to the referee and to be honest he needs to be pulled up about this and fined or docked a frame. But because Hearn is in charge now he will go unpunished like never before. In fact Ronnie will probably get his choice of ref in the future so that he is allowed to do as he pleases.
How the hell can anybody tell from sitting at home on their sofa's if it was touching or not. What it does show is what a petulant spoilt brat ronnie really is, he shows no respect for anyone or anything. I think it's about time Mr Hearn had another word in his shell like. Come on Selby!!!
Much ado about nothing...its not a little girl's game as well. He has the right to disagree anyway, but ok he could perhaps be more respectful.
A few minutes later after touching ball incident Mark tried to escape from a snooker, got very close to the red, but fouled still. A miss was called. Someone (maybe Mark himself) then said out loud 'Touching ball'...the crowd laughs...however, Ronnie was in no mood for humor and just said 'Very funny'...
I thought that moment was hilarious...
Love him or hate him...
What we just witnessed was an object lesson in why Ronnie O'Sullivan
is the only star in snooker and [ sorry Selbs ] Selby isn't.

Always been a Ronnie Fan, never enjoyed a sure thing, and Ronnie's Form has always been as variable as the weather. Schumacher, Federer, Woods, Davis, Hendry, all start to bore the pants off me when their wins become expected.
However, he has started to get 'too big for his boots' rather than the 'poor, tormented genius' for me, the way he treated that ref and his reaction when asked about being his own biggest critic, I'm starting to go off Ronnie, even though I love watching him play.

Maybe they had a fight backstage at the interval, i was wondering why is it taking so much for them to return!

I don't think anyone would be in a good mood if another player tries to joke about that. If anything, humour would make him more angry.
But anyways...yeah it was a bit disrespectful from Ronnie.
If practicemakes perfect,and noone's perfect,then whypractice?
