  • He missed one I hope I jinxed him

That is it now in my opinion. Selby makes the Semis, and has to be favourite for the title.

    • What do you think you're playing? Pool?

Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Doesnt look the way he was at the end of Williams match :/
I think he knows Selby has gotten the better of him and he struggles to compete with him. He's playing the man instead of the table!

              • The only interesting fact about this match is that Selby made a run of 8-2 by playing with tons of mistakes and much more nervously than his opponent. This speaks volumes about O'Sullivan's consistency which seems to have went down the drain in recent times.

Apart from that this was the same old, same old as far as Selby-O'Sullivan matches go.

                Predictable.

                        • i think ronnie played well overall considering he should have been thrashed at the start and managed to keep the scores level. great match all round though that.

Once again, Ronnie acting like a child, throwing away the match, playing crap shots.....Pretty sure he'll talk about retirement again in the presser.....

Anyway, Selby deserves his qualification, well done mate!!!!

Yes Selby probably played his poorest match against Ronnie yet still won convincingly really. Sounds daft this but Ronnie needs to look at his game now and decide whether to carry on because he just doesn't seem to have the game to deal with pressure situations and his consistency is very poor. He doesn't strike me as the kind of person to play for the love of the game, if he isn't winning tournaments or look capable of dealing with the pressure then he might just jack it in.
