Yeah but that's because Hendry's a "winner", someone who is used to dominating the game. He's never been disrespectful to the game, as people often feel Ronnie has been.

Well I don't know. Hendry for example says that he can't keep in the game when he's way behind, that it just does not do for him. So he expects to go through without fighting? Why are you going there if you don't bother to give it your all? IMO, this IS disrespectful to the game. And being a "winner" is way past for Hendry. He once dominated, but that's history. And if he expects winning to happen all by itself or because people are awestruck when they have to play him, I'd rather not have him there at all. There is no excuse for being a bad loser. It's always bad behaviour.

As much as I hate how Ronnie behaves very often, there is no difference whatsoever between his stepping across the line of what's decent behaviour and Hendrys.

How many times has Hendry walked out of a match halfway through? How many times has Hendry assaulted the tournament director? How many times has Hendry been stripped of a title for cannabis offences? How many times has Hendry asked a female press officer to blow him during a press conference?

Answer to all of these is 'never'.

Please don't compare the behaviour of the two.

This is not about Ronnies failings. This is about the fact that Hendry behaves like an arrogant idiot often, himself. I'm not making lists about who did what wrong.
All the things you listed show a situation where Ronnie behaved disrespectful against others / the game in general / commited acts of utter stupidity. While you might be able to cross the last point from Hendrys list, the rest does happen with him as well as with Ronnie. The remarks from his press conference that have been mentioned here (the "who cares" quote after being inquired about how far he thinks Mark can go in the tournament etc.), his general behaviour when losing, his attitude of "I can only play when I'm in the lead" ... they match many of the things Ronnie does and says quite well.

But obviously, you are inclinded to judge Mr. Hendry on a different standard than you do Ronnie, which makes a discussion rather senseless.

No, actually, I'm simply going off the facts. I'm a huge O'Sullivan fan - more than I am a fan of Hendry - but only a moron would disagree that his behaviour over the years has been far worse than Hendry's.

Yes and I'll persist. It's not about Hendry specifically, it's about the systematic slagging off. Whatever ROS says or does is scrutinised and interpreted in worse possible way. When others do similar things, or worse, it's swept under the carpet.
Personally I don't care if Hendry showed his anger. He WAS angry, mainly at himself I guess. I like to see the human side of the players. It's the double standards that angers me.
