Carter vs. Robertson is gonna be great!

And I don't have the time, dammit!
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

What a great game, how am I supposed to revise with such good snooker on? I'm not Murphy's biggest fan, but I felt sorry for him.

I whacked a fiver on Carter to win it when he was 5-3 down.

My first sporting bet that I've placed myself. £15 in the black on behalf of skybet... should probably hang up my betting pencil

What a great match this was. Neither man desrved to lose it, but at the end there has to be a loser. I'm a huge Murphy fan, but i don't mind seeing Ali Carter in the semis. He was fortunate not to leave the yellow on in the last frame, but Murphy has only himself to blame for missing the pink from it's spot earlier in the frame. A great sporting gesture from Ali when he won the match. he looked at Murphy speechless, like he was apologizing for the snooker on the yellow. Bravo!

I am so blind I didn't think Shaun was hampered so much on the yellow.

Aaarrrgghhh. Would I have won if Murphy got through? Not a bad attempt on my debut in any case.

A couple of chances for both players in that decider, but Murphy should really be kicking himself. If he hadn't missed on 40-0, I think he had four open reds, and wouldn't have needed any of the awkward ones.

Carter-Robertson should be very interesting now. Robertson won in the 2nd round last year, but Carter got his revenge at the Welsh Open this season. I think they will both be up for it this time, so I expect the match to still be close at the start of the fourth session.

Congrats to Ali! He's becoming more & more solid match player.

And fair on Murphy too, he should have fallen out sooner or later due to a lack of form this time.

I've only seen a few of the frames including the final one but looked like a great match. Ali's a dynamic player with the all the tools needed to win it. I wish him luck.

It's shaping up to be an incredible final 4. Carter v Robertson should be awesome.

I am not sure, but I thought your team looked best.
Noone else could of have 3 semifinalists, I believe.

And yes, at the time it looked like Shaun was a certain winner, so this all is naught now.

Not unlike the Dott-Allen match, either man would've been a worthy winner, and the winner did get a bit of luck towards the end which helped. I would've liked Murphy to go through as he has a bit more flair than Carter, but Carter has improved so much in the last few seasons it's scary. He looked beaten 2 or 3 times, but never lets it affect him. Fantastic effort!!
