It´s a farce that these finals get so late every year. If Hearns going to make snooker a world wide sport it should at least be possible to finish off the final so people from countries one or two hours in front of Britain had a proper chance to watch the finish.

When Mike Halett, Dave Hendon, and some of BBC commentators say in a number of ocasions that Neil plays poor shots in front of milions of viewers no one complains. Whe i do so on this forum, then there are dozens of people jumping on my throat.

They way things are said often have a huge baring on how they are received -illocution, perlocution, that sort of thing.
From what I have seen of your previous posts they are rather cutting towards Robbo (so people will stand up for their favourite player) not the sort of thing the commentators would get away with.

He may well win it ,but surely the most boring snooker final in history ,half the people in the crucible are asleep,wondering when they can go home, and half the people at home are switching off their tvs and going to bed, and people like wildjonesye think that snooker has never been so good!!!

u would have thought they would have had match ball and hand shake with davis and he is currant world champion and no1 and we travelled nearly 200 miles to watch his 1st round match LOL
