  • 'War of attrition' as a description was spot-on!! Still enjoying it though:-)

      • Please Eurosport, quit the final and re-broadcast Joe Perry v Michael Holt. Wasn't worse than this I suppose.

        • As someone who likes, say, a tight tactical Championship-match over a xbox-ish but boring World Cup-match with Brazil, I think this final isn't bad at all. The pressure is just mad out there. Scrappy, yes, but I'm not watching snooker for the century breaks but for the drama.

That said, I do understand everyone who's going to bed. There's not much eye-candy in this match.

I agree with you there. This is the World final, the match with the biggest possible pressure in snooker, and played on the 17th day of the tournament. You can't expect to see one-visit snooker, especially when the scoreline is still close.

They've missed quite a few in this final session, but some of the tactical play has been excellent.

              • I like it. The pressure is making these guys look like club players.

Missed pots, loose cueball, not thinking clearly and taking on the wrong shots. It's like I'm playing out there! :snooker:

                • i think people who think this is boring and just want free flowing centuries breaks need to re-evalutate their "love" of snooker.

there is massive pressure here, neils first world title, first aussie to win it and only 3rd overseas player to do so and dott if he got his 2nd world title would finally get the credit he deserves.

i really hope this goes all the way and we have a really late finish, the tactical aspect of the game is just as interesting as any century break.

                  • Dead right Johnno147, all these frames are full of drama and excitement. Great for a world final. I still don't know who'll win. Bugger century breaks tonight!!

                    • Agreed, but I do think that Dott should already have the credit he deserves for his performance throughout this championship. Let's hope so.

                      • I've got an idea bring back alcohol to snooker, more brave shots, drama and more emotions tears and hugs at the end of the match.

                        • Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish, the two best players in the world playing at the peak of their game I can't stop laughing. Going to bed now. Only electric shock therapy could keep me up to watch this crap
