Impressive stuff by Robertson, almost flawless breakbuilding in the first four frames. It got a bit scrappy after the interval, but Robertson prevailed anyway, not surprisingly. He will take some stopping.

Awesome. He's long overdue a good tournament.

Wow...unbelievable! Well there goes every bit of respect that I had for him as a snookerplayer...right out the window.

i think its appalling TBH where a religion dictates to a person how to behave and the sort of actions that see Women as some kind of second class citizens in so many cultures.

Don't even get me started on this! And if you ask me, regarding snooker, the WPBSA should just plain out ban players not willing to shake hands with a female referee. It's as simple as that really!

On topic again...watching the Lee - McLeod match atm, nothing too get very excited about. Pretty good fightback from Lee though. Next up is Neil R...that should be better watchable.

                            Brackets for the tournament:

According to Snooker.org, matches begin at 5:00am CEST (that's 1:00pm in Sydney, 4:00am in London, 11:00pm Monday evening in NY). So you better arise at 3:00am London time, practice for 45 minutes, then make breakfast and sit down to watch the matches!
