yep, lovely to see, well done Rod "Hotrod" Lawler ...
I thoroughly enjoyed watching that match, good tough matchplay snooker from both players, both hit centuries iirc ... it looked like it had a deciding frame written all over it but Rod saw his chance, a difficult chance, and took it with aplomb to win 4-2 ...
being brutally honest, I prefer watching matches like that to seeing which Ronnie turns up (sublime or self-implode) or even worrying about Judd Trump's alopecia (see note 1) ...
so well done Rod and well done Marco too ... oh and well done to Dave Hendon on commentary, I thought Dave was spot on in explaining what it must mean to Rod winning his first professional tournament after 22 years as a pro ...
oh, and hopefully LittleMissAlexa will stop calling him "Rod the Plod" now
note 1 ... I understand that by posting on TSF I am publishing to the world so I wish to be clear ... I am not saying Judd has alopecia so please don't sue me Mr Trump ... all I'm saying is I worry about it ...
