I wish they'd scrap the stupid "shot clock". The 64-year old Grinder is battling away hard but he is struggling with it. He trails Davis 52-12 in the deciding frame.

Who wants to watch people play slowly deliberately anyway, in most sports time wasting is frowned upon but in snooker its allowed i dont like players taking 10 minutes between shots itsn time wasting and an ugly way to play the game

and ive never seen a referee reprimand a player for it

Nice to hear Clive Everton commentating, still think he's one of the best ever.

Wouldn't quite have O'Kane in the 'journeyman' bracket. He twice reached the quarters at the Crucible and reached a ranking tournament final.

Anyone know why John Parrott didn't enter?

As did Rod Lawler and he is considered a journeyman

is Alain Robidoux using a Blackspin? Or is it just one of the black ferrules that Canadians like Kirk Stevens have used in the past?

Willie Thorne talks a lot of rubbish, doesn't he? Said he hadn't seen Perrie Mans for thirty year. They both played in the Seniors Pot Black at Goodwood House in 1997. Willie lost to Ray Reardon, Perrie lost to Joe Johnson.

Looking forward to Jimmy v Mike now.

Actually no....Not sure why Walker said that but its definately the one he's been using for the last 10 years.
