This is why this is a good idea from Barry, for the emerging pros and lower ranked players who don't often get on the TV games it's a chance to be seen and win a nice bit of prize money and for the higher ranked pros it's a bit of a weekend away at the seaside for fun which they will be paid for. Could be done more than once a year really.

Bit of disrespect for Maflin and Un Nooh there, no interview after the game presumably as 'nobody' has heard of them.

Good win for the Hawk there, he's only three random frames away from retaining his first title and pushing his earnings for the past twelve months past £200,000 - not bad for someone who's not in the top 16!

I think Williams in the mood to win this today and will be going for it, he always like a laugh and can do that and enjoy the frame here, plus if he wins it might give him a boost for the 2nd half of the season.
