Looks like I'll be the only one cheering on Selby tonight then! I'm a Williams fan so would be happy with him winning but I prefer watching Selby.

I certainly hope not. Hope he goes away. Either that or the hype about him goes away. Either way I'd be happy.

Edit: TBH, I'd be ok with him if all the hype around him and arrogance dissapeared. I know he's a good player, but the next Ronnie, he ain't.

Maybe we can finally forget about all this Naughty Snooker B0llacks!

I personally wonder where they are coming from.

In a match against hendry (i forget the tournament) he made 5(i think?) centuries and hendry barely saw a ball. He also made the most century breaks in one season(last season??!) so he can be quite a big break builder.

He's obviously got a strange technique, but i think he gets a lot of unfair abuse on these forums for some reason.

I'm really looking forward to williams selby tonight, and despite what i've written above hope williams wins. :snooker:

Yeah shoes were hideous. Perhaps it's what he needed, a few losses to realise he can't be the best without hard work and dedication.

I'm still struggling to get over Higgin's going out last night..

Trump is obviously not playing well at the moment and struggling for confidence as a consequence, but I wouldn't be pushing the panic button just yet. He's too good not to come back and play well again, the only question is when.

And well done to Dotty. All you can do is try your hardest and if you beat the other guy then thumbs up and in to the next round you go. No-one is really setting the heather on fire in this event so far so anyone left in it could win it in my view. No clear favourite.

Thing with Judd is after his performances last season i think he thinks that he just has to turn up to these events...like you say narl he should start practicing his snooker again instead of being ridiculous ! I for one is glad that he got beat but to be fair to Judd he just never turned up and on his day i dont think wee Dott would live with him.

Fair play to Dott, you can only beat what's in front of you, and Trump appeared to not show up, certainly not as strong a character as Selby i would say, did not have the do or die attitude after he lost the first two frames.
