That was an excellent frame, Selby kept himself alive for a long time with just one ball away from needing snookers. Bingham should really take it from here, but you're never really safe with Selby. :smile:

He played like this throughout the premier league and I actually think it helped his game because he only had 25 seconds per shot. Throughout his career he has tended to play a little on the slow side and tended to over think his shot choice. He is a lot quicker now and its no wonder he is starting to get good results. His all round game is very strong but I always think he has one bad match in a tournament which leads to his exit. If he could maintain this form he'd win many tournaments.

did you see the close up os selbys grip on the backswing his hand was shakin like mad. with that and his body movement he looks like hes got parkinsons or something. very odd but obviously doesnt effect him

He also has what appears to be a pretty sharp angle on the cue when he's playing a screw shot, surprised he doesn't hop the ball more.

yeah plus he seems to alter the angle right up to the final stroke.

Bingham has thrown this match away. Once again Selby has come out of a match as the winner despite being the weaker player, he has certainly got a good streak of luck about him right now, hard to see anyone stopping him.
