good frame win from the Thunder . . .
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

    • Well it did cost Murphy, too many chances wasted. Robertson is in command of this match. Murphy needs a response immediately after the interval, because Robertson doesn't really lose from a commanding position. The only big match he really lost like that was last month against Selby. I'm sure he will be fully concentrated on keeping his lead this time.

      • Is it me or is Murphy getting a pasting from the commentators this week?

He does not trust that table.
I find Neil incredibly annoying when he does things like that. Just let it go. It happened, you know now and can calculate it into your game. For some reason he always feels the need to overly express his displeasure with things outside his control. That's why I don't like him as much as I did before he won the world title. His head has gotten a bit too big imo. He really doesn't need it, he's a very likeable lad. Anyway...just my opinion

Yes. I know what you're saying but I've seen quite a few questionable pots this week that puts the table in a poor light. Even the other day Selby did a slow roll up behind the brown from the left hand side of the table and it drifted off. I'm surprised that more players aren't moaning about the table.

Yes that's fair. But I also think a table will never be perfect. As JP and KD said in the studio as well. The table fitters do the best job possible. Sometimes they are able to fix certain things later on, but to expect a table to be 100% is imo not really possible. Neil's overreactions sometimes get to me...there's no need for it really...it's just part of the job (to a certain degree of course).

On a more positive note...what a nice BBC piece on my fellow countryman, referee Jan Verhaas. He had a real scare in China, but he's back now. One of the best referees on the tour...if not *the best* imo. Makes me proud to be a Dutchman.

He is a bit chatty isn't he.

Well a reprieve for Shaun with the white going in-off from Neil. Better make it count!

                    • A very crucial frame to win for Murphy! 2-3 is not bad the way he's been playing today. Hoping he can find his rhythm soon now...

                      • Great match so far. Good quality snooker, some silly misses but the left-hand side of the table.... not right. Dont mind who wins this as I like both. My only fear is, whoever wins this will smash their opponent in the final so long as dull-as-door knob Selby doesnt take 15 minuet a shot and plays the game to the point of being one step from a rewind.

                        • Has Shaun managed to pot one with the rest since Hendry said he was ATM probably the best in the world with it?

                          • Very nice clearance from Robertson. It's amazing, Murphy was on the verge of making it 3-3, after all the setbacks from the first part of the match. Until that rest shot... He could have got away with it on another day, but Robertson punished him when it really mattered.

                            • Well played Neil, great clearance. Murphy on the other hand is not all there. You can see it from the beginning of the match...the fearceness isn't showing in his face. And he can't seem to find it. Must win frame this one.

                              • Excellent stuff again. Can't see Murphy winning from here, Robertson is no Carter or Stevens. When he gets the chance, he will take it.
