sure, i agree with you - but there is no obligation - only if he feels like it

From my reading I dont think the posts were saying that it was an "obligation", I have always seen it as a courtesy.
Yesterday when Shaun Murphy did an autograph while waiting for Ding to return from a "toilet-break", now that was courtesy at the max, personally I think the fan should not have done that - in the middle of a match! A good win for SM though.
My comment to you was why do you have to insult people (who you are stereotyping) at nearly every opportunity you get?
      Up the TSF! :snooker:

Wonder whether this sort of thing is just part of the Chinese mentality. Ding has always struck me as being basically introverted rather than unappreciative of an opponent's play (perhaps he really does acknowledge a great shot without showing it), whereas Trump is such a huge egomaniac that all he's interested in is his own performance.

Maybe it'll be an idea to check out Fu when he plays Murphy and see how he reacts to any brilliant shot that Murph pulls off!

          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Yes, great start. Hopefully Neil can do the same.

                  • Allen as usual looking like someone who just crawled into the arena after sleeping rough for a week.

lol yes Mark Allen does look like he needs a shave, so did Mark Selby as well, I remember a few years back Mark Williams got told told to have a shave before his matches because he tended to luck scruffy by world snooker forgot which event it was though

                      • Any reason why they all seem to wearing regular ties for this event?

Bit of a change at least, used to use them in the 80's so nice to see them back

Agree. Some players however said they find the tie to be in the way at times when on a shot. Anyway...I do like the style.
