    • It's like watching a final. They're missing everything at the moment.

        Will Barry keep it together.
Nope cracked under pressure once again. But so does Walden so no real harm done I guess.

        Nervy!

            • Unbelievable. Felt sorry for Barry but he played his part in this great match.

this was the original post in question. firstly, the poster is wrong as ronnie regularly signs autographs (and even gives away his cue) to the fans. secondly, he does imply it's an obligation which is wrong again. thirdly, he is a jerk and an ignorant primadonna one at that. lastly, why not?
Very surprised to see our resident elite genius incapable of creating a simple multi-quote, very messy indeed. So it isn't just geography and sociology you struggle with then arbs, IT not your strongest suite either.

                The slow and labourious,

                • You just know it's going to a decider when Hawkins is involved, whether he gets in front or behind.

Must be frustrating to lose after he'd shown what he was capable of in the first three frames. Especially as Walden's comeback was mostly fragmented stuff with quite a few chances for Hawkins.

Nice quarter-final lineup... I'm looking forward to Robertson-Maguire the most, I think. Their match in the UK was alright, but they've had even better ones in the past. It's also the only match where both players currently hold a major title, although I'm not sure that bit of trivia is worth much. Selby-Higgins could be good as well...

                  • In the beginning it looked like this was gonna be best match of the tournament so far, great stuff from Hawkins. But it was really disappointing to watch how he melt. Walden was clearly the stronger one in the end, especially in safety play, and deserved the win, but he was far from being impressive today.

Was hoping for Allen and Hawkins to win today. How annoying was it to watch the way they both lost the last two frames .

                    • Final frame: Robertson v Allen

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                      I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

I love Robertson, so enjoyed that result, but neither were as annoying as watching Ding crumble to Murphy.

I know a lot of people like him because he only speaks when he has something to say, but half the time I'm left wondering if he's even there. I think if I was on the board I'd be having a quiet word and reminding him that he does actually need to speak occasionally.
At one point during the match it was around 15mins that went by without Hendry uttering a single word. It's a pity that Taylor does most of the talking, as Hendry is infinitely better when it comes to commentating than that of Taylor.

                            • I was there yesterday. When they payed tactical frames Hendry was properly watching an was well engrossed. He clearly would rather play than talk about it.
