Turned out to be a great match. Felt sorry for Marco but he played a bit too conservatively. I can understand playing a really good safety game and then mopping up when you have the opportunity but sometimes, you just have to go for the lower percentage shot to win the frame.

If I remember correctly Marco has resided in the USA for a while (and met his current wife there as well).

And just to be fair to Murphy, I've brought up his poor record against the top players a couple of times this week... He's now improved that to 3 wins out of 10, so he is getting better. He is playing quite well, but he is bound to face two really good players at the weekend, so it will take his best stuff to win the title. :smile:
