Great opening match, couldn't have asked for a better one. A five-hour battle, so if that was the evening session it would have finished at 1am CET.
Selby's tenth decider victory in a row at the Masters... He could have potted a couple of those reds towards the end to win a bit sooner, but he still played a pretty good decider, with some top safety when he needed it most. He will need to raise his scoring and potting game in the rest of the tournament though.
Credit to Mark Davis as well for battling all the way to the end. Well, maybe not all the way, because I certainly expected him to fight for four snookers with a red still on the table, but I guess he didn't really believe the match was still winnable from there.
Selby won that match with his D potting game but ever reliable A+++ safety game ... thoroughly entertaining ... Well played Mark Davis too .. much more fun than seeing Robbo make century after century
Yeah. He's got an amazing safety game.
An amazing and thoroughly entertaining match.
So Bingham vs Higgins next. I would have to think Bingham should win this. Higgins is just too inconsistent these days.

Bingham on this next match for me in a match that will be a little clearer cut than Selby v Davis. I am not sure of the final score but neither player winning 3 consecutive frames looks seems likely to me and at 4/1 the bookies possibly see one of these two going on a run. I am not so sure

Anyone thinking Higgins, in any kinda form, against the likes of Bingham is NOT a decent bet does not know much about Snooker I am afraid
16-1 outside bet is worth ten quid of anyone's money. higgins isn't to be discarded just yet, all it take's is him to get a decent run going. so your comments is mute, and as for not knowing much about snooker...pahahaha
Sorry i think i may have misread your comment, that will be the baby screaming lol
