Shame for Trump. It's the best I've seen him play for a while and he still lost. Fu was brilliant. Held his nerve and pushed past the line.
What an incredible match. Just fantastic.
Power cut at 4-4! Thank the lord for smart phones!!! When Judd plays anyone in the top 16 I fear for him, too interested in the playboy lifestyle with his fast cars and silly shoes!
Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...
Another embarassing loss for Trump....can't figure out why he is in the middle of such a slump!
I do like Marco as a character but by can he be soporific.....I would have much more fancied Judd to get a bit of show. Marco can surely pot the balls but man it is painful to watch. :/

Another good match, five hours again. I guess it's good that both of the long ones were in the afternoon, otherwise they would have finished at midnight local time. Not that I would mind that personally...
Trump has mostly been quite poor in his losses this season, but this was a pretty good performance, and he could have won against any of the four players that played yesterday. But Fu was able to match him today, so he has a chance for yet another good tournament this season. Probably not the kind of form that makes you the title favourite in the Masters, but certainly the best of all three winners so far.

I agree, terrific match. Had decider written all over it, as you said earlier, but I did expect Trump to pinch it at the last.
Maguire v Perry next up. Gentleman Joe against Mad Mags! Should be fun.
Looking at the H2Hs it been nearly 6 years since Joe beat Maguire, but after a good performance in the Championship League last week, his confidence should be up.
C'mon Joe, teach this lad some manners!
Only kidding, Mr Maguire, sir.... :black_eyed:

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
JT seems to be pushing a lot of balls to the right.
Yep, a worrying problem for a younger player. You expect this of older players due to alignment or sighting problems, Bingham was similar last night but a lot worse. I don't see what has gone wrong with his game, it must simply be a massive lack of confidence.
There was a little interview mid session when Hazel was asking him questions about himself, his strengths, weaknesses etc. What stuck in my mind was when Hazel asked him about the mental side of the game and struggling and would he turn to someone like Steve Peters, who has turned Ronnie's game around. Judd said he wouldn't rule it out but right now he doesn't like anyone telling him what to do. Trouble is if you are too stubborn to see the error of your ways you'll carry on making the same mistakes over and over. I think he needs to change his practice base or get a coach, someone to nurture his talent into wins. Right now he is going nowhere and I can only see this slump continue indefinitely and he'll fall further down the rankings.
