Indeed. It's a great event with wonderful matches.

    • in my opinion, I think Trump lost not due to Marco playing well , although he did. Trump missed too many easy balls when he was in first, how many frames was it that he needed just frame ball or a couple more balls (even in the final frame he had first chance) and missed a sitter. some were quite amazing and unexpected.

his overall form was good and I don't think he is in a slump, I think he gets too ahead of himself because he's knocking all them exhibition shots in so when it comes to the simple ones he loses focus a bit and doesn't pay the shot the same respect. some of the shots he pulled yesterday off were amazing so its not a confidence thing, also his safety was quite good too.

I suppose at this level its a very fine line from winning and losing, the margins are so small.

His average result this season is L48, one L16 in a ranking competition is not good and there's not much left of the season, if he carries on playing like he has since May until May next year he'll be out of the top 32.

True, however as I mentioned its a very fine line between losing and winning, frames won or lost by the odd mistake, matches lost by the odd frame. he surely needs to up his focus, especially when he is getting the chances.

          • Watching Maguire playing last night was a perfect example of why he hasn't won many major tournaments including the world championships. He has a great cue action and natural ability, but his temperament is questionable and if Perry was playing better, could probably have gone on and won 6 -5.

                • Yeah, just heard, surely the programme could start and Hazel could put everyone in the picture.

Has a bit of an Xmas atmosphere to it

But dang...really looking forward to the Ding Murphy match. Hope they'll be able to solve the problem soon.

                        • I was wondering why the program hasn't started, and why they are showing some safari programmes

                            • If it's an external power cut we could be in for a long break! Funnily enough it took 4 hours last night for the electricity board to sort my area out... had to to go to my nan's to watch the Maguire match
