Allen must be pretty angry with himself not to be 3-1 in front. Terrible safety on the pink to lose the frame, and he had a routine colour clearance prior to that as well...Comment

Rather disappointing match so far. Very little tension or excitement to get my juices flowing. Hoping for much better later on with match no. 2 of the day...
So 4 all it is. Maybe the final 3 frames of this match can still provide something special...who knows

Bad defeat for Allen, just like it was for Ding yesterday...
On the plus side, we now get Robertson-Maguire in the quarter-finals, and that's virtually always a classic. :smile: If Robertson plays like this again and Maguire still doesn't get him, I don't think he ever will again. :wink:Comment

He's going to have nightmares for the foreseeable future. Neil was there for the taking... if he made 3-1 I could have seen Mark coasting to victory!
