I was going to ask the same thing the other day during the match against Allen. He was definitely using Master chalk green before, and he now seems to be using either the grey or the gold one (depends on camera angle and light). Very unusual (but if that works for him why not?).

Definatly the grey chalk never seen any1 in snooker use anything else but green or blue before

Haha Dean was thinking the same, the plus side on having grey chalk would be cue craft cases would look better without the green chalk stains!

How well is Maguire playing! Haven't seen him play with this much focus, determination and patience in a long time...fantastic to watch! Especially his safety play is just excellent. 5-2 up now.
