Shattered Neil is out and that is the worst i have seen him play for a long time.

Oh well. it just was not his night and that's the way it is.

I don't actually think he played that bad, to be fair. Can't actually remember him missing a ball after the mid-session interval. It was just one of those strange matches where nothing went for him and every chance was awkward in some way. Plus, Maguire played well and took his chances better than he usually does. Would like to see him go on and win it now. Anyone but Murphy!!!!

I am not sure, so far I am a bit dissapointed with tournament quality. It has been really scrappy in the most of the matches .... Now I wish Stephen or Mark will win this, as I must admire I started to like Shaun much more recently, but he will never be one of my top favourites and I am not ROS fan .... ok he is great to watch sometimes but that is just it

Robertson didn't really get going and that missed pink in first frame set the standard for the him for the rest of the match.

The game is much more enjoyable to watch if you are a Ronnie fan. When he's in the zone it's a magical experience watching him play. No one comes close.

The only player I used to dislike was Selby but his amazing potting skills and tenacity has won me over.

Ive just seen it too, that is snooker at its very best, in that form he is untouchable.

As would anybody who could play like that, but i really dont think anybody else could, by far the most talented player ever.
And his all round game seems to constantly be improving, very excited for the semis and hopefully final!

I feel privileged, blessed almost to have had the fortune of being able to watch that O'Sullivan match today. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed in sport. I take back everything bad I've ever said about him, this guy is magical, a genius. He's the closest thing to perfection we've ever seen and will ever see. If you're 'not a fan' then you're a damn fool, you'll never see anyone as incredible as him ever again in sport let alone snooker. For all his inconsistency, all his breakdowns, all the dumb things he says, performances like that make it all worth while.

Bang on here, we are very lucky to have him in our lifetime as these gifted ones don't come along very often. Yes I put him in the same class as any of the past masters of any craft he just happens to use a cue. That performance tonight was beyond words.
